Founded in 1253 by Walser colonizers from the Valais, Bosco Gurin is a beautiful village nestled in the valley basin of the Valle di Bosco, in the District of Vallemaggia. With its 1,504 m.s.m. it is the highest commune in the Canton Ticino and is the only German-speaking commune in Ticino.
